Material Introduction:
The high-chromium cast iron rolls are produced by centrifugal casting technology. The chromium content in the working layer material is 12-22%. Through reasonable chemical composition ratio and different heat treatment processes, the matrix structure can be controlled as austenite, pearlite, bainite or martensite, etc. The types of carbides are Cr7C3 type eutectic carbides, Cr23C6 type secondary carbides, and molybdenum carbide Mo2C type, etc. The core material can be selected as ductile iron or gray iron according to the application purpose.

Scope of Application:
High-chromium cast iron rolls are mainly used in the roughing and finishing sections of the hot-rolled strip continuous rolling machines for the initial rolling of the strip, the roughing and finishing sections of the wide, medium-thick plate rolling machines for the initial rolling of the plates, the finishing rolls of the leveling machines, the working rolls of the cold-rolled strip rolling machines, the roll rings of the large-sized steel universal rolling machines, and the finishing rolls of the small-sized steel and bar rolling machines.
