Material Introduction:
Infinite hardenable cast iron is a type of rolling mill material that lies between hardenable cast iron and gray cast iron. The working layer of the infinite hardenable cast iron rolls contains sheet-like graphite. As the depth from the surface of the roll body increases, the amount of graphite increases while the hardness decreases. Depending on the usage conditions of the roll, by adjusting the chemical composition, the base structure of the roll can be controlled to be pearlite, bainite, martensite or tempered sorbite, etc. This type of roll has excellent wear resistance, nearly as good as hardenable cast iron. Its resistance to thermal cracking, peeling and biting performance is also very excellent.
